Belief

Today, out of the blue, my mom said, "If there's one thing I believe in, it's that love can move mountains."

Well, surprise, surprise. I never thought I would ever hear something like that from my usually pragmatic mother. I wonder where she got that, or what made her suddenly say it. But what a relief! Now I feel less stupid for being a believer. I  mean, my mom said it--she's clairvoyant, or something. Haha. And as they always say, mothers know best. Y'know?

  1. "Mothers know best."

I say yes to that. They really do most of the time, if not all.

  2. Yes love can move mountains. Don't underestimate the power of love, for true love, not puppy love nor juvenile love nor jealous kind of love nor a lot like love nor sex for love, but THE true love, WILL make you a better person.

I always equate God to love and love to God, I don't always show this side about me because I'm contented about where, I believe, I stand with Him.

Finding true love in this world is difficult, but finding God's love isn't, because He loves you without you asking for it. The time I found love was when I promised God that I wouldn't exchange His love for any human love. That I will always give Him my time, but I broke that promise to Him and look what happened.

What I'm trying to say is, if you start understanding that human love is never enough, that God's love is what you truly are seeking for, He'll move the mountains for you.

He'll make you feel loved by Him through a human's love. If you can prove to Him you'll never exchange His love for any human love, you'll find true love. I made that promise to Him some time ago, and yet I broke it. Sad!

Keep on believing in love. If it makes you a better person than you already are... then you know that you've found it.

  3. @Psychic: That is so true. It's something I constantly learn from my mom as well: if you surrender everything to God, He will give you everything you desire, and more. Letting Him take complete rein is easier said than done, though. But I'm working at it.

  4. I got a little bit redundant there. My cat was being KSP man gud. Lost my thoughts and though I noticed the redundancy, I didn't bother to fix it.
